Senior Designer, Futures & Foresight

The Person

Now Hiring: Full-time Senior Designer, Futures & Foresight, on a project-basis.

We are looking for an emerging design leader who has strong expertise in visual communications, design thinking and experience design. You are equally comfortable leading engaging design workshops, working with senior stakeholders and guiding juniors.

In this role, you will need to thrive in dynamic ambiguity, while continuing to strive for designerly attention to detail, polish and care. You can translate customer insights, industry trends and organisation requirements into clear and engaging formats like infographics, journey maps and future scenarios through strong worldbuilding, storytelling and presentation skills.

You understand that design principles and processes transcend mediums, and can apply them through visuals, environments, processes, experiences, conversations, relationships and organisations.

For this project, you will need to be highly skilled and competent in visual communications to produce meaningful and high-quality outputs with the design team.

The Work

• Collaborate with Research Leads to identify key opportunity areas to improve customer experiences based on research, trends, weak signals and organisational requirements
• Plan and facilitate design and futures workshops, sprints and ideation sessions
• Utilise strong design, storytelling and presentation skills to clearly communicate the design strategy, outcomes, and deliverables to diverse stakeholders
• Support 1-2 junior designers in their professional craft and personal growth
• Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process
• Learn and work with Studio Dojo’s transdisciplinary approach
